Each of us has the natural power within to create – from finger painting to putting words together to create clear communication, we have been creating since we were born. As we grow and evolve, it is important to both acknowledge and nurture our ability to create – not just art, but opportunity, dreams and different aspects our lives. Join us with this series of talks featuring local artists who share their personal experience and journey with creativity and the role it has played in their lives.
After their talk, we will hold a guided meditative journey to ignite and enhance our own creativity.
Cost is $10, please call to sign up if you can but drop-ins are welcome. Each month a different artist is featured and will also bring some of their artwork for available for purchase after the talk.
For May, our guest Artist is Glen Velez of Feral Dog Arts. Glen is an Artist and Witch living in Salem, MA. He has been an artist for over three decades. In 1990 he attended The School of Visual Arts in New York City where his passion for Art merged with his growing interest in the Occult. He draws his inspiration from the the old stories passed down from his parents as well his experiences in nature. Recently his work was featured in VENEFICA Magazine.
