We call upon the Dark Mother, She who is cloaked in the moonless sky to join us as we close our journey through the tides of the moon. We thank her for her blessings. We thank her for her love. Tonight, we ask her for the shelter of her ebony mantle so we can peel away our layers as we float within the Cosmic Sea. We will shed what no longer serves us as we purify our energy. This will prepare us for the spiraling journey once again; in the hopeful breath of the following new moon. But first, tonight we shelter, release, and heal under her protection.
In the class tonight, we will discover the potency of the dark moon. Although she remains unseen at this time, her power is great and deeply sacred. We know she is present in the in the starry heavens and within the depths of the earth. We can feel her. We trust this feeling and claim this truth. For we too, have a dark phase. Together, we will explore the depths and understand the importance of this time.
In ritual tonight, we gather in the dark of night to reflect, remove, debride, and purify what it is that no longer serves us. We will call to She, the Dark Goddess – Hecate, Morrigan, and Lilith. We will look to see what must be removed to discover our truth hidden deep within. If you would like to take part in the ritual’s spell work, please have a small bowl of water, bowl of sea salt – you will only need a pinch, and a small black candle, (a chime candle will do) and a toothpick to scratch into the candle. If you are unable to have these materials, that is fine too. This can work with your intentions as well. Renee will have a set up on her altar and will walk you through it.
