When we make a wand, we are calling forth our core strengths. The wand is a symbolic extension of our personal power. Wands are a fire elemental tool; in the Tarot, the ace of wands symbolizes the start of a new venture or enterprise, energy, birth, the power of inspiration, a turning point, forward looking, enthusiasm, drive, fertility and growth. What new growth would you like to call to you in a wand of your own creation?
In this workshop, Nancy Bleyer will help you to create your own crystal magic wand. We will talk about the archetypal images associated with magic wands, its uses for meditation, manifestation, to direct energy and as a healing tool.
You will be guided by Nancy in a meditation of the seven chakras (energy centers associated with your body), emotions, power, heart, self-expression, vision and Spirit. This will help bring clarity and direction in the creation of your wand.
This workshop is about creating with intention and symbolic meaning, with the various materials you use in making your own wand. Come have fun embellishing your crystal wand with colored thread, copper wire, features, shells and stones for an empowering tool unique to only you. Folks can bring their own small trinkets or stones, feathers, shells, etc., if they wish, to give the wand extra personalized meaning.
After creating the wands, Nancy will guide the group in a consecration and intention ritual and sharing of the wands.
