Max the Ancient Crystal Skull is back visiting ZuZu’s again this fall – Max is a crystal skull that has been researched by many experts in the field of carving and researched by the British Museum in 1996. Max is believed to be thousands of years old. This rare crystal skull was given by indigenous healers to an American Buddhist healer (Norbu Chen – a Red Hat Lama) who later brought Max to Houston, Texas. Lama Chen set up a healing center and Max sat on his altar. The Lamas used Max as a healing spiritual tool.

JoAnn Parks met this healer through her family medical doctor in 1973 when her 12-year-old daughter was dying of bone cancer and was given three months to live. Lama Chen extended her daughter’s life for three years with the help of Max and other monks. JoAnn ended up working for the Lama for over four years, watching the monks perform their healing work. Many people who have contact with Max have received remarkable advice and different kinds of healing. Max is an individual experience.

JoAnn has been Max’s caretaker for over 35 years and has shared him with the world for over 25 years. Max the Crystal Skull is known nationally and internationally, and has been featured in documentaries worldwide. He was presented on A&E, the BBC, SyFy, History, Travel and Discovery channels. He has been featured in documentaries, films, newspaper articles, DVDs, books and radio shows.

Please note: Max is also available for private viewing sessions, each session is 30min and costs $65. If 2 or more (up to 3) people would like to share a session, the cost is $50 PER person for the session.
