This Friday (5/10) brings us yet another eclipse, this time a Solar eclipse in the sign of Taurus. While Taurus is traditionally good at sitting still, it encourages us to do just that now. Make time to quiet the mind, the ever-judging ego, and just BE. Remember that in the midst of change, it’s best not to make hasty decisions or commitments. Instead of thinking it through, sit with it and allow yourself to FEEL the situation/opportunity…when we sit in peaceful space, truth rises to the surface and our answer is clear.
While Lunar eclipses are traditionally associated with emotional discomfort, Solar eclipses bring more fire, which can arise in the form of motivation, acceleration, or creativity. Be mindful to stay in the moment and aware of your own energies so that if this Solar energy begins to push you out of your comfort zone, you don’t start barking at those around you. Find ways to burn off that excess energy through a brisk walk, extra workout, creative activity, or as I like to say, “write it out” in your journal. Decisions are best made from a place of peace, so do what works for you to get you there.
In the latest issue of Wisdom Magazine, I have an article called “Remaining Centered in Changing Times”, which you can read
here. It offers some tips on staying grounded and centered in the midst of change, I hope you enjoy it and find it useful.
In May we welcome Dede Eaton to our list of offerings at ZuZu’s. Dede owns The Magick Closet and is a Primus Activation Healing Technique Practitioner, and will be offering PAHT sessions, Crystal Ally Card Readings, and several different workshops at our space once a month. Dede has studied under Naisha Ahsian, whom I have taken many workshops with as well on crystals. Dede and I were both at a crystal conference 8 years ago so our paths have been crossing for a long time now! We are excited to have her here and hope you enjoy her services and classes. You can read more about her at
www.themagickcloset.com.
Now – on to the great calendar we have in store for you over the next few weeks; Enjoy!
See you soon…
In gratitude,
Sue Ustas
